About this spot

A tourist orchard located along Prefectural Route 5, commonly known as the Fruit Line, lined with orchards. Its appeal lies in enjoying a variety of fruit picking through the seasons - starting with cherries in early summer, followed by peaches, pears, grapes, and apples - letting you experience the full strength of Fukushima, the Kingdom of Fruit, in one visit. The trees are spaced widely apart and the ground underfoot is easy to walk on, so everyone from small children to grandparents can pick fruit together, and the taste of fruit harvested by your own hand is exceptional. The attached cafe Mori no Garden is known for its seasonal parfaits, generously topped with fruits in season, and it's a popular spot that many people enjoy alongside fruit picking. The direct-sales shop also sells fruit and processed goods for souvenirs, letting you spend a sweet time fitting to close out the day.

Tips

About 20 minutes by car from central Fukushima City; signs are posted along the Fruit Line. Since the fruit picking selection and prices change with the season, checking and reserving in advance by phone or website is a sure bet. Fruit juice can get your hands sticky, so wet wipes come in handy. The popular cafe can have lines, so allow plenty of time when stopping by.
