A historic park spreading at the base of Uchifu-ki Mountain, south of the Shirakabe Dozo-gumi, where the legend of the heavenly robe (hagoromo) of a celestial maiden persists. Once, a mountain castle was built on Uchifu-ki Mountain, forming the foundation of Kurayoshi, and the park was developed in the castle's foothills. Throughout the park, ponds, vermillion-painted bridges, and a wooden reception hall called Hiryuryu-kaku are scattered, with scenic walking paths winding through seasonal flowers and lush greenery. Known as one of "Japan's Cherry Blossom Viewing Spots," the park attracts both tourists and local families with its flowers and a small-animal observation area. Concluding your town walk with a leisurely stroll in the mountain's fresh air and green surroundings allows your castle-town day to settle peacefully.

Tips

Approximately 10 minutes on foot from the Shirakabe Dozo-gumi. The park has slopes and stairs, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended. If entering the mountain climbing trail, be mindful of sunset times; keeping your visit to the park grounds is more relaxed. With plenty of benches available, bring refreshments for rest breaks.
