A small, charming bridge with vermillion railings spanning the Tamayugawa River just in front of Tamasakuyu Shrine's torii gate. Taking a photo from the bridge with the shrine's torii gate in the background is said to bring true love, giving the bridge its affectionate nickname 'Romance-Fulfilling Bridge,' and making it Tamatsukuri Hot Spring's signature photo spot. It's customary to visit right after paying respects at the wish stone, and it's heartwarming to see couples and those seeking good fortune eagerly posing with their cameras. The riverside promenade continuing from the bridge's base is beautifully lined with willows, and the walk itself amid the gentle murmur of the stream is a romantic date-worthy scene.

Tips

For photography, the angle from the center of the bridge with the torii gate clearly framed is the classic shot. As this is a popular spot, be courteous and share the space. Use the self-timer or ask passersby to help capture a photo of both of you together.

Best time to visit

Approximately 30 minutes. Late morning after the shrine visit has fewer visitors, allowing for calm and peaceful photo-taking.
