Located about 5 minutes by car from Izumo Taisha, this tourist winery is marked by a red-roofed building surrounded by vineyards. The wine production facility using Shimane Prefecture grapes is open for free tours, where you can observe tanks and bottling processes up close through glass. The highlight is free wine tasting at the tasting and sales hall. Several varieties are offered, from sweet to dry, plus grape juice, making it enjoyable for designated drivers and children as well. The shop stocks an abundance of Shimane specialties, making it ideal for selecting final souvenirs. Conclude a day satisfied by temple-town food walks with the aroma of wine.

Tips

Free parking is provided. If driving, the designated driver should enjoy grape juice instead of wine. Wine can be shipped home from the shop, helpful for those who prefer not to carry extra luggage.
