A rest stop located in the heart of vast farmland created by the reclamation of Kasaoka Bay, with adjacent flower fields on an unprecedented scale. Rape blossoms, poppies, sunflowers, cosmos, and other seasonal flowers stretch to the horizon in blazing displays, replanted with each season and open for free exploration. The farm shop is lined with fresh morning vegetables from the Kasaoka reclaimed tidal plain, seafood from the Kasaoka Islands, and local processed products. Light meals including ramen restaurants and soft-serve ice cream are also available, making it an ideal starting point for a family drive. Every angle framed against the flower fields is picturesque, so take your time strolling through the crisp morning light.
Tips
The parking lot is spacious with plenty of availability in the morning hours. The flower fields have no shade, so don't forget a hat and drinks. Popular items at the farm shop often sell out by mid-morning, so it's wise to shop early.
Best time to visit
Approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. The cool morning hours make the flower garden stroll comfortable, and the farm shop has abundant fresh morning vegetables.
