A park developed on a gentle hill where Kasaoka Castle, associated with the Murakami Kaizoku (pirates), once stood, cherished as a cherry blossom viewing spot and gathering place for Kasaoka residents. From the summit plaza, you can overlook Kasaoka Harbor, Kasaoka Bay, and the silhouettes of the scattered Kasaoka Islands. Gazing at passing ships and the sea surface glimmering in the light allows you to feel the history of Kasaoka, a port town shaped by its relationship with the sea. Tips

Parking spaces are available near the park entrance. The path to the summit plaza includes inclined sections, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Don't rely on shops or vending machines; bring drinks with you.

Best time to visit

Approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. Early evening, when the western sunlight makes the sea shimmer, offers the most beautiful views of the harbor and islands.
