A municipal art museum that houses and exhibits works by Ono Takekyō, a Japanese painter from Kasaoka. Takekyō painted the sea, sky, and trees of the Seto Inland Sea with clear, luminous colors, and the landscapes of his hometown Kasaoka became the foundation of his artistic world. In the exhibition galleries, works from his early to late periods allow you to slowly savor the delicate color transitions and poetic approach to nature.
