A park along the Otani River, a short walk from the Udatsu townscape, featuring a Dutch-style windmill in the grounds and stone weirs said to be connected to Dutch engineer Johannes de Rijke, who devoted himself to flood control. The sound of water flowing over the rough stone weir and the scenery of the windmill evoke an exotic atmosphere, offering a different character compared to the traditional aesthetic of the Udatsu townscape. In spring, tulips bloom across flower beds, and combined with the windmill, it appears like a scene from a storybook. Sitting side-by-side on a bench, reminiscing about the day's memories while spending the evening along the riverside is the perfect way to conclude your day.

Tips

About a 10-minute walk from the Udatsu townscape. The riverside has little shade, so a hat is recommended. In the evening, the river breeze becomes cool, so it's advisable to bring a light jacket.
