A roadside station located in the foothills along the Katsuura River in Katsuura Town, known as a citrus-producing region. The adjacent farm-direct market displays seasonal citrus fruits, fresh vegetables, and processed goods brought directly from local farmers—you'll even see people buying by the box during peak season. True to the town's heritage of hinaningyo (doll) culture, a worthwhile detour is the adjacent Doll Culture Exchange Hall, which brings Katsuura's character closer to home. Stopping here on the way home after a full day of play, family members choosing souvenirs together captures the lingering essence of the journey. Head home having added one taste of Tokushima flavor to your dinner table.

Tips

The farm-direct market has limited stock by evening and closes early, so arriving before it gets late is reassuring. During citrus season, the variety of products expands, making the selection experience even more enjoyable. A portable cooler bag is convenient for carrying purchases.
