A Photography Spot Offering the Charm of Quiet Solitude

About this spot

A submerged bridge with a span of approximately 145 meters located one upstream from Sada Chinkabasashi Bridge, formally known as Fukikigi Bridge. Compared to the tourist-filled Sada, this bridge sees fewer visitors, allowing you to savor the submerged bridge's atmosphere in peaceful solitude. Vehicle traffic is sparse, and from the bridge you can leisurely view yakatabune boats crossing the river or gaze into the transparent water where you can see right to the riverbed. Being just near the yakatabune boarding dock makes it convenient to visit after your cruise. In the afternoon, the light softens, and the mountain shadows reflected on the water with the bridge's silhouette create beautiful photo opportunities.

Tips

A few parking spaces available at the bridge approach. As it is a living road, move to the side when vehicles approach. The path down to the riverbed is slippery, so watch your footing carefully.

Best time to visit

Plan approximately 45 minutes. Aim for the afternoon when softer light reflects on the water and fewer people create a peaceful atmosphere.
