Arao's pride—a major amusement park with one of Japan's largest numbers of attractions sprawled across a massive Kyushu-scale site. From thrilling rides like the dinosaur-shaped coaster "GAO" to rides for small children and the great Ferris wheel "Rainbow" towering over 100 meters high, you can enjoy yourself all day regardless of age. From the peak of the Ferris wheel, a vast panorama opens up, with views stretching to the Ariake Sea and even Mount Unzen—the perfect reward between bursts of screams. The park also offers plenty of restaurants and snack stands, making it ideal to have lunch and stay well into the afternoon. This is the way to experience this course.
Tips
Many attractions have height restrictions, so families with children should check the official website beforehand. If you plan to ride scream coasters, bring hair ties and keep hats and small items secured to avoid dropping them. On weekends, popular coasters attract long lines, so the golden rule is to head for your most-wanted ride right after entering the park.
