An observation facility and planetarium perched on a hillside near the tip of Sagaseki Peninsula, overlooking the Toyoyohaikyaku Strait. From the observation area, the narrow strait separating Kyushu and Shikoku stretches before you in all directions—a breathtaking vista where passing ships and blue currents weave together. On clear days with crisp air, you can see all the way to Sata Cape on Shikoku across the sea. The facility's large telescope planetarium hosts daytime observation events of the sun and other celestial bodies, with engaging displays about stars and the cosmos.
