A shrine with distinctive character standing on rocky reefs jutting into the sea, formally called Tateate-Tsuwamononushi Shrine (射楯兵主神社). The highlight is the "cauldron lid wish-making" tradition, where you balance a cauldron lid on your head and walk from the torii gate to the offering box without dropping it—if you succeed, your wish is granted. On windy days, the difficulty increases significantly, and the shrine grounds fill with smiles as worshippers carefully make their way through. Known as a shrine of martial deities and victory, it attracts athletes and celebrities nationwide seeking fortune in competitions. From behind the shrine, you can see Kinmon Peak across the sea, and the view of the sea and rocky reefs glittering in the evening light is a fitting conclusion to this course.

The cauldron lid wish-making becomes more challenging on windy days, so approach it with determination and gently steady yourself with your hands. Be cautious of wave spray along the rocky reefs. Surrounding roads have narrow sections, so drive carefully. Don't forget small coins for your offering.
