Rest While Taking in White Sand and Emerald Sea

About this spot

A beautiful beach with white coral sand at the north end of the Marine Expo Park. Distinctive Y-shaped seawalls divide it into three beaches, each with its own character: "Play Beach," "Rest Beach," and "View Beach." Before you stretches emerald-green shallow waters, while in the distance rises the distinctive pointed silhouette of Ie Island's Tatchu Peak. Just a short walk from the Bise fukugi path and near the aquarium, you can spend the entire day within the park. Whether strolling the shoreline or sitting on a bench gazing at the sea, it's a perfect spot for an afternoon rest.

Tips

Admission is free. With limited shade, bring a hat and sunscreen. Swimming is allowed only during designated periods and areas, so follow signage and staff guidance. Walking from the fukugi path side makes travel seamless.

Best time to visit

Allow approximately 45 minutes. The sea's colors are most vibrant under afternoon's bright light.
