Approximately 6,000 fireworks launch from the Tamagawa riverside, their large blooms opening successively across the unobstructed sky. On the opposite bank, the Setagaya Ward Tamagawa Fireworks Festival is held simultaneously, creating a unique Tamagawa sight where fireworks from both shores compete in a display of light. Check the official Kawasaki City and festival announcements for confirmation regarding cancellation due to bad weather. Immediately after the event concludes, all directions toward Heima Station (平間駅), Kashimada Station (鹿島田駅), and Musashi-Kosugi Station (武蔵小杉駅) become heavily congested. It's recommended to linger on the riverside to savor the afterglow, then disperse across multiple stations for your return journey.
