Flow of the course

About this spot

A prefectural park with one of Tokyo's largest expanses along the Edogawa River in Edogawa Ward. The park features extensive lawn areas, barbecue grounds, tennis courts, and other well-maintained facilities, and has long been cherished by local families. The park has plenty of shade, making it pleasant to walk through the greenery even in summer. Located right next to the Edogawa riverbank, the site of tonight's fireworks festival, which allows you to get a sense of the geography around the venue during the day. Take a leisurely walk to relax your body and mind before the evening's viewing experience.

Tips

About 10 minutes walk from Shinozaki Station (篠崎駅) on the Toei Shinjuku Line. While parking is available, public transportation is recommended on the day of the fireworks festival due to heavy congestion. There are multiple public restrooms in the park, so it's helpful to note their locations for safety in the evening. Shops may not always be staffed, so bring your own beverages.

Best time to visit

Approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes required. The daytime greenery is beautiful and shade provides comfortable rest time.
