Renowned as one of the Kanto region's largest festivals for its sheer number of fireworks and diverse program, the unrestricted view from the vast riverbank is breathtaking. The combination of light bands reflected in the river and large blooms spreading across the sky creates a spectacle unique to riverside viewing. The 65-minute display from 7:15 PM to 8:20 PM finale features continuous fireworks that create lasting memories for families. The event can also be viewed from the opposite bank in Ichikawa City, and the riverbank becomes filled with spectators for this major summer event.

The festival may be canceled or postponed in case of bad weather, so always confirm the final decision through the official Edogawa Ward announcement. After the event, roads to Shinozaki Station (篠崎駅) and Ichinohe Station (一之江駅) on the Toei Shinjuku Line become very congested. Consider enjoying the afterglow at the riverbank for a while before moving with staggered timing, or consider dispersing among multiple nearby stations. The riverbank path is dark after the event, so a smartphone light or small flashlight is helpful.
