Check the official festival announcement beforehand regarding weather-related cancellation decisions. After the show, surrounding roads and nearest stations are extremely crowded. Lingering on the riverbank to savor the afterglow before departing—a staggered departure approach—is recommended. Return routes to Ise Station or Ujiyamada Station have poorly lit sections; use your phone's flashlight for safe passage.
