The Yura River (由良川), which runs through Ayabe from north to south, is a pristine stream originating in the Tamba highlands, and its verdant riverside greenery is cherished by residents as a place of relaxation. If you take a stroll along the riverbed while it's still light in the early evening, you can also scout out tonight's fireworks viewing location—two birds with one stone! Let the pleasant river breeze refresh you as you take time to let the children play a bit by the water. The open landscape, with distant views of the Tamba mountain range, is a quintessentially Ayabe summer scene you won't experience in urban areas. As the sun begins to set, the river's surface glows orange, and excitement for the fireworks naturally builds.

2026年7月25日(土)20時00分打ち上げ開始、綾部市の夏の風物詩「あやべ水無月まつり花火大会」がクライマックスです。由良川の河川敷から打ち上がる約4,000発は、丹波の山々に音が響き渡り、川面に映る光が揺れる絶景を生み出します。広い河川敷から見上げる花火は遮るものがなく、空全体に広がるような開放感が魅力。20時40分のフィナーレまで約40分間、夏の夜空を彩る光の饗宴を家族みんなで堪能してください。都市部の大規模花火とはまた異なる、清流と里山に抱かれた花火大会ならではの情緒があります。

Tips

荒天時の開催可否は綾部市の公式発表で事前に確認してください。終了後は会場周辺の道路と綾部駅方面への帰路が大変混雑します。花火終了後は少し時間をおいてから移動するか、駐車場から出るまでの待機時間も見込んでおきましょう。足元が暗くなるため小さなライトがあると安全に帰れます。

Since this is the riverbed area around Kawashi-cho where the main venue is held, you can start securing your spot from this time onward.
