About this spot

Located in the center of Ureshino City, this roadside station is a regional gateway where Ureshino tea and other Saga specialties are gathered in one place. It offers a wide range of sweets and processed goods made with Ureshino tea, one of Japan's three great teas, and its tea-leaf soft-serve ice cream is a beloved local classic. The farm-produce corner also stocks seasonal vegetables and processed goods from within Ureshino City, making it a great spot to pick up souvenirs. Since crowds concentrate here from the evening onward on the day of the fireworks festival, it's wise to finish your shopping in a relaxed way during the daytime. A food corner using local ingredients also offers a light lunch.

Tips

It's within easy walking distance of the Ureshino Onsen Bus Center. Buy your souvenirs at this stage and leave them at your accommodation or car so you can move around freely until evening. There is also a corner for sampling Ureshino tea, useful for choosing tea leaves to your taste. Parking is spacious.
