Miyuki Park (みゆき公園), the venue for the Ureshino Onsen Summer Festival, is a community gathering spot on the bank of the Ureshino River. On the night of the fireworks festival, food stalls line the park, creating the lively atmosphere unique to Ureshino's summer festival. Being close to the launch site in an open area, it offers a good viewing environment. Move over early after dinner, spread out your leisure sheet to secure a viewing spot, and enjoy the food stalls while waiting for the 20:00 start. As dusk falls, the glow of the lanterns lights up the park, building anticipation for the fireworks to come.

Tips

You can walk there from the center of Ureshino Onsen town. On the day of the fireworks festival, it starts getting crowded around 6 p.m., so arriving at the park by around 18:45 is ideal for securing a good spot. Since food stalls mostly accept cash, keep some small change handy. It's reassuring to use the restroom before the crowds build up.
