Port Park (ポート公園), developed on the shore of Aioi Bay, is a representative park of Aioi City located near the main venue of tonight's fireworks display. The calm waters of the ria-type coastline surrounding the bay and the beautiful green mountains on the opposite shore create a scenic setting, and simply strolling here lets you savor the relaxed seaside atmosphere. The lawn plaza is spacious with plenty of room for children to run around. Checking the terrain and viewing space layout during the day ensures smooth spot-securing at night. On a clear spring day, the sea breeze is pleasant, and the excitement of the pre-festival day heightens your mood. 2026年5月30日(土)19時50分から約50分間、相生湾の海上から約5,000発の花火が打ち上がります。相生ペーロン祭前夜祭として開催されるこの花火大会は、リアス式海岸の穏やかな入り江という地形が生み出す独特の舞台設定が魅力です。湾の水面に色とりどりの光が映り込み、打ち上げのたびに水面が揺れる様子は、海上花火ならではの美しさ。三方を山に囲まれた入り江では音が反響し、大玉の炸裂音が体にずしんと響きます。翌日のペーロン競漕への期待も重なって、相生の春の夜を祝うような5,000発のフィナーレは、この1日の最高の締めくくりです。
Tips
荒天時の開催可否は相生市・大会主催者の公式発表で必ず確認してください。終了後はポート公園周辺および駐車場が大変混雑します。終演後すぐに移動せず、湾岸で少し余韻を楽しんでから時間差で帰宅するのがおすすめです。JR相生駅への臨時シャトルバスや交通規制の情報も事前に確認しておきましょう。

About 10 minutes from JR Aioi Station (JR相生駅) by bus or car. Since parking fills up on the night of the fireworks, it's reassuring to confirm the parking location during the day. Restrooms are available in the park. Since vendors are not permanently stationed, it's most reliable to procure beverages near the station before heading out.
