Designated as a National Scenic Site and Natural Monument, this is a scenic spot representing Minami-Awaji City. The landscape woven by a white sandy beach extending about 1.5 km and approximately 50,000 Japanese black pine trees lining the shore is counted among Japan's most representative pine forests. In summer, it is open as a bathing beach, and the shallow, calm Seto Inland Sea is safe for children. Tonight's fireworks festival will be held on this very beach, so checking the sea conditions and terrain during the day will be useful for securing your viewing spot later. The shade of the pine forest provides cool breezes, making the sandy beach walk a pleasant experience.

2026年7月25日(土)開催の慶野松原花火大会は、国の名勝・慶野松原の白砂の浜を会場に、瀬戸内海の夜空へ約3,000発の花火が打ち上げられます。砂浜と海が広がる開放的な会場は遮るものがなく、打ち上げ花火が夜空いっぱいに大きく開く迫力を全身で感じられます。波打ち際に揺れる花火の光の反射と、背後に続く松林のシルエットが重なる風景は、この会場ならではの美しさです。瀬戸内海を渡る潮風と波の音とともに、夏の淡路島の夜のクライマックスをお楽しみください。

開催時間は例年夜間ですが、2026年の正式な打ち上げ時刻は主催者の公式発表でご確認ください。荒天時は中止または延期の場合があるため、当日の開催可否も公式情報を確認しましょう。終了後は駐車場や周辺道路が混雑するため、花火終了後は少し時間をおいてから移動するとスムーズです。足元が暗くなるのでライトを持参し、砂浜での移動は安全に。

Parking available (arrive early in summer as it gets crowded). If swimming, bring change of clothes and towels. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended for the sandy ground where pine roots spread out. Pre-select your viewing spot during the day for smoother seat arrangement in the evening.
