A cemetery facility featuring the "Head Buddha Hall" designed by renowned architect Tadao Ando. The distinctive sight of only the Buddha's head protruding from a grass-covered hill is an impressive landscape found nowhere else in Hokkaido. Descending underground, you'll find a 13.5-meter-tall Buddha seated peacefully in the center of a circular space surrounded by lavender, enveloped in an ethereal atmosphere as natural light filters in. Throughout the grounds stand 15 Moai statues brought from Chile, creating a mysterious experience that leaves both children and adults wondering, "Where am I?" Located just beside Makomanai Park, it's conveniently accessible to the fireworks venue.

2026年7月11日(土)19時50分から20時50分まで開催されるT×Tガレージ真駒内花火大会です。真駒内セキスイハイムスタジアムを舞台に約22,000発の花火が打ち上がり、音楽と連動した演出が会場全体を包む、北海道を代表する夏の大花火大会のひとつです。スタジアムという囲まれた空間で花火を見上げる体験は、広い野外会場とはまた異なる包まれるような迫力があります。フィナーレに向けて次々と加速する連発の花火が夜空を埋め尽くす瞬間は、1日かけて訪れた甲斐を全身で感じられるクライマックスです。

Tips

荒天時の開催可否は大会公式の発表で必ず確認してください。終了後はスタジアム周辺と真駒内駅が大変混雑します。フィナーレ後はスタジアム内で少し余韻を楽しんでから、人の流れが落ち着いた頃に移動する時間差帰宅がおすすめです。地下鉄の終電時刻は事前に確認しておきましょう。

Tips

It's convenient to use a bus or taxi from Makomanai Station on the Namboku Subway Line. Admission may apply, so check the official website in advance. The grounds are extensive with considerable walking distances, so remember to stay hydrated. Lavender blooms peak in early July, coinciding with the open dates, offering beautiful views of flowers alongside the Buddha. Makomanai Park is approximately 10 minutes away by car or bus.
