道新・UHB花火大会の会場は、豊平川の南大橋から幌平橋の間の河川敷です。川沿いの広々とした観覧エリアから、約4,000発の花火を頭上近くで見上げる迫力は格別で、川面に映る光の帯が揺れる眺めも美しい見どころのひとつです。夏の北海道の夜は涼しく、東京や大阪の花火大会とは異なる爽やかな空気の中で観覧できるのが、この大会の大きな魅力です。フィナーレの連発が夜空と川面を同時に照らす瞬間は、この1日のクライマックスです。
Tips
開催時間は公式発表で確認してください(2026年は時間未定)。荒天時の開催可否は道新・UHB花火大会の公式発表を当日確認してください。終了後は周辺が大変混雑するため、フィナーレ後は河川敷でしばらく余韻を楽しんでから、時間差で帰宅するのがおすすめです。地下鉄南北線幌平橋駅が最寄りですが、混雑時は中島公園駅まで歩いて分散乗車も有効です。

Just a short walk from Nakajima Koen Station on the Nanboku Line subway. Free admission. The viewing area on the Toyohira River floodplain is approximately 10-15 minutes on foot. On the fireworks day, surrounding roads become congested from evening onward, so enter the park early and allow plenty of time for movement. Acquire drinks and light snacks before entering the park.
Best time to visit
Takes approximately 2 hours 15 minutes. The water surface of Shobu Pond at dusk is beautiful, and you can enjoy the quiet time before the fireworks.
