The verdant grounds feature well-maintained lawns and walking paths, making it an ideal place for a leisurely stroll under Tokachi's expansive sky. Adjacent to the park are the Obihiro Centennial Memorial Hall and the Obihiro Happiness Park Zoo (帯広市ハピネスパーク), offering enjoyment for all ages. On the day of the fireworks festival, the riverside areas become crowded from afternoon onward, so spending time in the relaxed park atmosphere during midday provides a refreshing moment for the day ahead. Tips

Approximately 5 minutes by car from Obihiro Station; also easily accessible by bicycle. Admission is free, though some facilities within the park, such as the zoo, charge separate fees. The lawn area is convenient for spreading out a sheet for a lunch break. Multiple restrooms are located throughout the park; it's recommended to check their locations in preparation for the fireworks festival day.
