Tips

Viewing is available from the riverbank and surrounding plazas near the river mouth. Since the surrounding area becomes crowded before the show begins, secure a viewing spot at least 30 minutes before the 7 PM start time. Kushiro's September nights can drop to around 10 degrees Celsius, so warm clothing is essential. After the show ends, nearby roads may experience traffic congestion, so if driving, plan to leave at a different time. Also check public transportation's final departure times in advance.
