About this spot
A waterside plaza developed on the southern shore of Abiko Station, along Teganuma. An open, scenic location facing the lake where you can take in expansive views of the lake all the way to the green shores of Kashiwa City across the water. A well-maintained pathway along the water's edge allows you to enjoy a pleasant start by taking a leisurely walk while feeling the lake breeze. Experiencing the lake that will be the stage for tonight's fireworks during daytime makes the evening viewing even more enjoyable. This is a peaceful spot where you can also observe waterfowl swimming on the lake's surface.

2026年8月1日(土)19時から20時10分まで開催の手賀沼花火大会は、柏会場・我孫子会場の両岸から楽しめる、千葉県有数の夏の花火大会です。打上数は約13,500発と迫力十分で、広い沼の上空に次々と大輪が開きます。我孫子会場の手賀沼公園からは水面に映る逆さ花火も美しく、沼越しに見る花火の独特の奥行き感はここならではの絶景です。フィナーレに向けて連発が続く終盤は、沼面全体が花火の光で照らされ、1日の締めくくりにふさわしいクライマックスを迎えます。
Tips
荒天時の開催可否は大会公式サイトや柏市・我孫子市の発表で事前に確認を。終了後は我孫子駅・柏駅方面への帰路が大変混み合います。花火終了後は沼畔で少し余韻を楽しんでから時間差での帰宅がおすすめです。足元が暗くなるので小さなライトを持参すると安心。常磐線の帰りの電車時刻は事前にチェックしておきましょう。

Approximately 15 minutes on foot from the South Exit of Abiko Station on the JR Joban Line, or convenient access via local bus. On the day of the fireworks festival, surrounding roads become congested from evening onward, so take a leisurely stroll during the early afternoon hours. On sunny days, don't forget a hat and sunscreen.
Best time to visit
Approximately 45 minutes required. First experience the breadth of Teganuma under the blue daytime sky.
