The Asahi City Iioka YOU-Yu Festival 2026 Beach Fireworks Festival (旭市いいおかYOU・遊フェスティバル2026海浜花火大会), held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, is a seaside fireworks festival launched from Iioka Coast (飯岡海岸) at the northern end of Kujukuri Beach (九十九里浜). The clear autumn night sky has higher air transparency than summer, giving the fireworks' colors an especially vivid appearance — a charm unique to an autumn festival. Launched near the water's edge, the fireworks also reflect their light on the sea's surface, letting you enjoy the show on both land and water. The launch sound resonating through your body as you sit on the sand, together with the sound of the surf, is an experience you can only get at a beachside fireworks festival. Once you've watched the finale, enjoy the afterglow on the sand for a while before heading home.

The event is cancelled, not postponed, in case of severe weather. Since it takes time for surrounding roads and parking lot exits to clear afterward, it's recommended to wait on the sand for a bit after the finale before heading out at a staggered time. The sand and parking areas are dark on the way back, so bring a small light for safety.
