The Wakayama Port Festival Fireworks Display (和歌山港まつり花火大会) launches from the Manton Berth (万トンバース) off the Naka Pier of Wakayama Port (和歌山港中埠頭), from 20:20 to 20:50 on Saturday, July 25, 2026. About 3,000 fireworks bloom one after another, filling the port's wide-open night sky, painting the Wakayama summer night for 30 minutes while their light reflects on the sea's surface. Watching from the open view unique to a port, with little to block the sight, the fireworks feel massive and powerful, their sound and light reaching your whole body along with the sea breeze.
