A historic shrine known as the principal shrine of Koshigaya City, also called the Ichinomiya (first rank shrine) of Musashi Province. Large trees line both sides of the long approach, creating a cool, shaded walking path even in midsummer. Peacocks are kept within the grounds and are among the popular attractions for children. In the quiet atmosphere cherished by locals for many years, you can spend a calm time before the lively fireworks festival. It is a fitting spot to set the tone for your day while feeling the history and greenery of Koshigaya.

越谷花火大会の観覧会場となる葛西用水河川敷は、街の中を流れる用水沿いに開けた空間で、打ち上がる花火を間近に感じられるのが最大の魅力です。川沿いの平らな河川敷から見上げる花火は視界を大きく占め、光と音の迫力が体に直接伝わってきます。中央市民会館周辺には観覧できるエリアが広がっており、家族連れがレジャーシートを広げてゆったりと楽しめる雰囲気があります。埼玉の夏の夜を彩るこの大会は地元の人々に長く愛されており、川面に映る花火の光とともに夏の思い出を刻む特別な時間です。

From Koshigaya Station East Exit, approximately 20 minutes by bus or on foot; a taxi is convenient. Admission to the shrine is free. The grounds are spacious, so wear comfortable walking shoes. Peacocks are kept in one area of the grounds and can be observed up close. If you wish to receive a shrine stamp (goshuin), confirm the office reception hours in advance.
Best time to visit
Approximately 1 hour required. The tree shade in the early afternoon is cool and ideal for strolling the approach.
