The Daishoji Adjustment Pond (大相模調節池) spreading beside Koshigaya Lake Town Station serves a flood control function while welcoming residents as a waterside park. A promenade surrounds the area, perfect for leisurely walks while enjoying the lake view. Spacious grass areas allow children plenty of room to run about. Although the summer sun is strong, the breeze from the water is refreshing, allowing you to spend a cool afternoon before the fireworks festival. The nearby Koshigaya Lake Town commercial facilities are convenient for obtaining drinks and snacks.

越谷花火大会の観覧会場となる葛西用水河川敷は、街の中を流れる用水沿いに開けた空間で、打ち上がる花火を間近に感じられるのが最大の魅力です。川沿いの平らな河川敷から見上げる花火は視界を大きく占め、光と音の迫力が体に直接伝わってきます。中央市民会館周辺には観覧できるエリアが広がっており、家族連れがレジャーシートを広げてゆったりと楽しめる雰囲気があります。埼玉の夏の夜を彩るこの大会は地元の人々に長く愛されており、川面に映る花火の光とともに夏の思い出を刻む特別な時間です。

Tips

Just a short walk from Musashino Line Koshigaya Lake Town Station. Free admission. Don't forget a hat or sunscreen for days with strong sunshine. Rest and refreshment are available at the nearby commercial facility's food court and shops. The return to the fireworks venue requires moving back toward Koshigaya Station.
