About this spot
Inari Mountain Park (稲荷山公園), adjacent to Iruma Base, is well-known locally as a fireworks viewing spot for the summer cooling festival. With its spacious lawn plaza and open sky in the direction of the base, fireworks are easily visible, and families arrive early to claim spots. Spread out your leisure sheet in the evening to secure a place, then enjoy dinner from food you brought or buy light snacks from stalls while cooling off as you wait for the show to begin. As the sun sets, the entire park takes on a summer festival atmosphere, and you hear the sounds of children running around. As the sky darkens, the fireworks countdown begins.

令和8年度入間基地納涼祭のフィナーレを飾る花火大会です。2026年7月22日(水)20時20分から約30分間、航空自衛隊入間基地の広い空に約900発の花火が次々と打ち上がります。基地周辺は遮るものが少なく開けた空が広がるため、花火が大きくはっきりと見えるのが特徴です。打ち上がるたびに響く音と光が夏の夜を彩り、見ている子どもたちから歓声が上がります。自衛隊基地の納涼祭という特別な舞台で打ち上がる花火は、ほかにはない雰囲気があり、毎年多くの家族連れが楽しみにしている地域の夏の風物詩です。
Tips
稲荷山公園駅・狭山市駅周辺など基地フェンス沿いの道路や公園から観覧できます。基地内への無断立ち入りは厳禁。終了後は周辺道路と稲荷山公園駅が大変混み合うため、フィナーレ後は少し時間をおいてから移動するのがおすすめです。荒天時の開催可否は入間基地の公式発表で当日確認してください。

Just a short walk from Inari Mountain Park Station on the Seibu Ikebukuro Line. Also about 15 minutes walk from Sayama City Station on the Seibu Shinjuku Line. Early spot reservation is advantageous, so arriving around 5 PM is recommended. Confirm the park's restroom locations in advance and use them before the show starts. Upon departure, Inari Mountain Park Station will be extremely crowded, so plan to move with plenty of time.
Best time to visit
Approximately 3 hours required. You can comfortably wait for the show while gazing at the twilight sky before and after sunset.
