About this spot

A central comprehensive park in Beppu City within walking distance from Beppu Station (別府駅). Within the grounds surrounded by vast lawns and abundant greenery are fountains and benches scattered throughout, making it a gathering place for local residents. The tree shade is pleasant during summer daytime, and this is an ideal warm-up spot to start the long fireworks festival day comfortably. The park has good visibility, allowing families with young children to roam freely. Spreading out a picnic lunch here is also a good option.
