A nature park developed along the flow of the Nanase River, and the fireworks launch venue for tonight's "Nanase Fire Cluster Festival" itself. The riverside promenade has plenty of shade, allowing relatively cool strolls even on hot summer days. Spacious lawns and interactive water areas abound, with plenty of places for children to play by the water's edge. Familiarizing yourself with the park's layout and design in daylight makes finding spots smooth at night. Observe which direction the fireworks will launch and discuss the best viewing position with your family beforehand. Admission to the park is free, and it is cherished as a gathering place by local residents.

Tips

About 15-20 minutes by car from Oita Station. Some areas within the park have sandy or grassy ground underfoot, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Confirming the restroom locations during the day provides peace of mind at night. On the fireworks day, spot reservations begin in the evening, so plan to return early to secure a good location.

Best time to visit

Approximately 1 hour 30 minutes required. Taking a leisurely walk around the entire park in the afternoon's cooler hours is a good pace.
