毎年7月25日の天神祭本宮に行われる、日本三大祭に数えられる奉納花火です。大川の川上から打ち上げられる約3,000発は、川面に映る光とともに夜空を大きく彩ります。天神橋をはじめとする橋の上に集まる人々、川を行き交う大小の船、岸辺にひしめく観覧客と屋台の灯り—すべてが重なって、大阪の夏を代表する絶景を作り上げます。打ち上げは19時30分から20時50分まで約80分間続き、フィナーレの連続打ちは川と空を光で満たす圧巻の締めくくりです。
Tips
観覧は無料ですが、有料の観覧席も設定されています。荒天時は中止となる場合があるため、当日の開催可否は天神祭公式の情報で確認してください。終了後はJR桜ノ宮駅・大阪天満宮駅周辺が大変混み合います。フィナーレ後は公園内で少し時間を置いてから移動する時間差帰宅がおすすめです。帰りは足元が暗い場所もあるため注意して歩きましょう。

Just a short walk from Sakurano-miya Station (桜ノ宮駅) on the JR Osaka Loop Line. On festival day, crowds are significant; securing a spot by 4 PM is recommended. Mosquitoes emerge along the riverbank in early evening, so bring insect repellent. Purchase food stall items early (evening queues become very long). Public restrooms in the park get congested, so use them early.
Best time to visit
Approximately 2 hours 50 minutes required. From dusk until fireworks begin, leisurely enjoy the river's changing landscape.
