At midday on the day of the fireworks festival, it's less crowded than in the evening, so you can enjoy a relaxed meal and the town's atmosphere. It's also a smart idea to pick up light snacks and drinks around this time for tonight's fireworks.

About a 2-3 minute walk from Ikeda Station (池田駅) on the Hankyu Takarazuka Line (阪急宝塚線). Diners and cafes around the shopping street are convenient for lunch. From evening onward on the day of the fireworks, the area around the station gets busier, so check your return train times in advance.
