About this spot
A naturally abundant park spreading across Satsukiyama (May Mountain) in the northern part of Ikeda City and a representative green space of the city. As you ascend the hiking trail arranged on the mountain's slope, you'll reach a viewpoint overlooking the townscapes from the Inagawa river basin to Itami and Kawanishi. November is the autumn foliage season, making it a refreshing time to walk among the colorful trees. The park also features an animal corner and grassy plaza, adding to its charm as a space where children can run around freely. Looking down on the Inagawa river bank where tonight's fireworks will go up from this elevated viewpoint during daytime makes the evening viewing even more enjoyable.

猪名川花火大会は、池田市の猪名川河川敷を会場に開催される秋の花火大会です。11月の夜空に打ち上がる花火は、夏の大会とはひと味違う凛とした空気の中で楽しめるのが特別な魅力。川面に映る光の揺らぎと、秋の澄んだ夜気に響く打ち上げ音が河川敷を包みます。夏とは異なり観客が比較的ゆったりと観覧できる雰囲気も、秋の花火大会ならではです。短い打ち上げ時間の中に凝縮された光と音の競演を、川風を感じながら楽しみましょう。
Tips
開催可否は荒天時に変更となる場合があるため、当日は主催者の公式情報を必ず確認してください。終了後は最寄りの阪急池田駅に向かう人で混雑するため、しばらく河川敷で余韻を楽しんでから移動する時間差帰宅がおすすめです。足元が暗い場所もあるため、帰り道は小型ライトを活用してください。

Approximately 15 minutes on foot from Hankyu Ikeda Station, or you can use the community bus service of Ikeda City. Admission is free. The hiking trail has slopes, so wear comfortable shoes. Since sunset comes early in November, it's wise to descend by 4 PM to move on to the next spot with time to spare.
Best time to visit
Allow approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. On a clear autumn afternoon, the view from the viewpoint is at its clearest.
