About this spot

A sports park spreading along the Inagawa (猪名川) riverbed in Ikeda City, with an open layout featuring three baseball fields, two youth baseball fields, a softball field, a soccer field, and a track-and-field ground. This riverbed is also the viewing area for the fireworks festival. The sun sets early on November evenings, and the sky already begins to turn orange by around 4pm. Once you've claimed your spot, have dinner with the bento and hot drinks you brought along. Wind tends to blow along the river, so it's a good idea to put on warmer clothing from this point on. Watch the crowd levels while you wait for the 18:00 start.

Tips

Convenience stores and shops around the riverbed tend to sell out early on the evening of the fireworks festival, so it's safer to pick up food and drinks earlier in the day or on your way over. Riverside nights in November are colder than you'd expect, so bring gloves and a scarf too. Check the location of the temporary restrooms ahead of time.

Best time to visit

About 1 hour 30 minutes. This is a beautiful time to watch the sky's colors change and the reflections on the water's surface just after sunset
