About this spot

A roadside station (michi-no-eki) located along National Route 309 in Kurotan Village, Yoshino District, this is a classic stop on the way to Nosegawa Village. It carries a full selection of Yoshino's distinctive local products: fresh vegetables, mountain vegetables, and processed goods made with Yoshino kuzu (kudzu starch). The dining facility serves meals featuring local ingredients and is the perfect lunch spot for a mountain journey. Since you'll be climbing higher into the mountains from here to reach the fireworks venue in Nosegawa Village, we strongly recommend buying extra drinks and light snacks here. Use this final shopping stop before entering the mountain roads.
