2026年7月26日(日)19時から20時10分まで、女川港一円を会場に約4,000発が打ち上げられます。三方を山に囲まれた入り江の港から打ち上がる花火は、山々に音が反響して体に響く迫力があり、海面に映る光の美しさも港町の花火ならではです。女川町の夏の一大イベントとして地域の人々に長く愛されてきたこの花火大会は、東日本大震災からの復興を経て地域の絆を確かめ合う場でもあります。澄んだ三陸の夜空に次々と開く大輪の花火を、潮の香りと港の風を感じながら家族で見上げる70分間は、この1日のクライマックスです。

Tips

荒天時の開催可否は女川町や大会公式の発表で必ず確認してください。終了後は女川駅周辺および帰りの石巻線が大変混雑します。フィナーレ後は少し時間をおいてから移動するか、石巻駅経由の帰路の電車時刻を事前に確認しておきましょう。足元が暗い場所もあるため、スマートフォンのライトや小型ライトがあると安心です。
