Refresh Travel Fatigue at the Day-Trip Hot Spring Inside the Station
About this spot
A rare day-trip bathing facility located inside Onagawa Station building. The station building, renovated as a symbol of Onagawa Town's recovery, is known as a unique structure designed by architect Shigeru Ban. The hot spring uses natural hot water and gently relieves travel fatigue. Bathing in the afternoon before the fireworks festival and refreshing yourself will allow you to enjoy comfortably from the evening spot-securing to nighttime viewing. Being inside the station building, it's convenient and safe to stop by even in rainy weather.

2026年7月26日(日)19時から20時10分まで、女川港一円を会場に約4,000発が打ち上げられます。三方を山に囲まれた入り江の港から打ち上がる花火は、山々に音が反響して体に響く迫力があり、海面に映る光の美しさも港町の花火ならではです。女川町の夏の一大イベントとして地域の人々に長く愛されてきたこの花火大会は、東日本大震災からの復興を経て地域の絆を確かめ合う場でもあります。澄んだ三陸の夜空に次々と開く大輪の花火を、潮の香りと港の風を感じながら家族で見上げる70分間は、この1日のクライマックスです。
Tips
荒天時の開催可否は女川町や大会公式の発表で必ず確認してください。終了後は女川駅周辺および帰りの石巻線が大変混雑します。フィナーレ後は少し時間をおいてから移動するか、石巻駅経由の帰路の電車時刻を事前に確認しておきましょう。足元が暗い場所もあるため、スマートフォンのライトや小型ライトがあると安心です。

Located inside Onagawa Station, so you can enter without confusion. Bathing fee is approximately ¥550 for adults (possibility of change; confirm in advance via official sources). Towels are available for rental or bringing your own is convenient. Congestion is expected on the fireworks day, so it's reassuring to bathe early in the afternoon.
