About 2 hours before the fireworks begin, spread out your leisure sheet on the park's lawn to claim your spot. As this time approaches, viewers gradually begin to gather, with sheets being laid out in increasing numbers. Enjoy your dinner leisurely on your sheet, using food you've picked up from the Yuriage Port area or from food stalls. As the sun dips lower, the sunset paints the sky, and a pleasant night breeze blows in from the sea. This time spent relaxing with your family, enjoying Miyagi's summer twilight while waiting for the show to begin, becomes one of the day's precious memories. Be sure to visit nearby food stalls and restrooms before they get crowded.

Tips

Spot selection is first-come, first-served, so ideally secure your location by around 5 PM. Lines at food stalls grow long about an hour before the show, so purchase early. Always bring bags for carrying away trash. Reapplying insect repellent at this time ensures a more comfortable viewing experience.

Best time to visit

Allow approximately 1 hour 35 minutes. The transition of the sky's color from sunset to deep indigo night is particularly beautiful during this time.
