Tips
荒天時の開催可否や開始時刻は気仙沼市みなとまつり実行委員会の公式発表で必ず確認を。終了後は気仙沼駅方面への道と駐車場周辺が大変混雑します。花火終了後はしばらく港で余韻を楽しんでから帰路につく時間差帰宅がおすすめです。夜の岸壁は足元が暗い箇所があるため、スマートフォンのライトなどで安全に歩きましょう。

On the festival day, the area around the quay becomes very crowded from the evening onwards. Secure a good viewing spot early. Procure food before the crowds build up (food stall lines become long). Confirm the location of restrooms in daylight for peace of mind. Be cautious of the quay's edge and do not lose sight of small children.
