The area surrounding the street is packed with restaurants serving Miyazaki specialties such as tatsutaage (Miyazaki-style fried chicken) and charcoal-grilled local jidori chicken, making it an ideal location for pre-fireworks dinner. On the evening of the fireworks festival, the entire city is bustling, so finishing dinner earlier (by 6 PM) makes subsequent travel and securing a viewing spot much easier. After your meal, it's convenient to stock up on drinks and snacks for the fireworks show at nearby convenience stores and shops.

Tips
荒天時の開催可否は大会公式情報で確認を。終了後は会場周辺の道路と駐車場が大変混雑します。花火終了後はすぐに移動せず、河畔でしばらく余韻を楽しんでから時間差で帰宅するのがおすすめです。帰り道の河畔は照明が少ない場所もあるため、足元に注意してください。

10 to 15 minutes by bus or car from Miyazaki Prefecture General Cultural Park. Also within walking distance from Miyazaki Station. On the evening of the fireworks festival, restaurants become crowded, so arriving during the early 4 to 5 PM time slot is recommended. After dinner, it's about 5 to 10 minutes by car, or about 20 to 25 minutes on foot to the Oyodo River banks in the Tsurushima Park area.
