A yakiniku restaurant with all-private-room seating, located in Maeda-cho, Miyakonojo City. It opened in April 2026 and is known for letting you compare Omi beef (近江牛), shipped directly from Shiga Prefecture, with local Miyazaki beef (宮崎牛) — this is the only restaurant in Miyazaki Prefecture where you can taste Omi beef tongue and skirt steak. Miyakonojo is a place where yakiniku culture has long been rooted, so much so that the fireworks festival itself carries the name “Yakiniku Carnival.” Fill up properly in a calm private room to prepare for a long night ahead.

Tips

On the day of the fireworks festival, restaurants in the city get crowded. Aim for an early entry so you can finish eating and head to Kannonike Park (観音池公園) before 6pm. It's reassuring to find a restaurant you can reserve by phone in advance. If you're bringing children, also check whether family seating is available.

Best time to visit

About 1 hour 30 minutes. An early dinner around 4pm is the best time slot to avoid crowds while still making it to the fireworks.
