Uozu Port is the launch site for tonight's fireworks display, and in the evening, festival food stalls from the Janto-Koi Uozu Festival line the port area. Sample Toyama Bay specialties such as white shrimp fried chicken and shrimp tempura from takeout vendors around the port while securing your viewing spot with a blanket. When the western sky glows at dusk, if the weather is clear, the silhouette of the Tateyama mountain range will float above the horizon of Toyama Bay, enriching the moments before the fireworks even further.

じゃんとこい魚津まつりのフィナーレを飾る海上花火大会は、2026年8月8日(土)19時40分から20時20分まで、魚津港の沖合から約2,000発が打ち上げられます。海上から放たれる大玉と連発スターマインが夜の富山湾の空いっぱいに開き、海面に映る花火の光の帯が水面をゆらゆらと揺れる海上花火ならではの光景は圧巻です。立山連峰を擁する富山湾という雄大な舞台で繰り広げられる約40分間の花火は、魚津の夏祭りのクライマックスにふさわしい迫力です。波の音と祭囃子の余韻の中で、家族みんなで夏の夜を刻んでください。
Tips
荒天時の開催可否はじゃんとこい魚津まつり実行委員会の公式発表で確認を。花火終了後は魚津駅・新魚津駅方面への歩行者が一斉に移動して混み合います。終了後すぐに移動せず、港周辺で少し待ってから帰路につくと混雑を緩和できます。帰りの電車・バスの時刻は事前に調べておきましょう。足元が暗くなるので懐中電灯やスマホのライトを活用してください。

On the evening of the fireworks festival, surrounding roads and parking areas fill early. Public transportation is convenient – about 15 to 20 minutes on foot from Uozu Station on Ainokaze Toyama Railway (あいの風とやま鉄道・魚津駅) to the port. Popular food items at the stalls sell out quickly, so plan to get dinner between 5 and 6 PM. Check restroom locations in advance.
Best time to visit
Approximately 2 hours 30 minutes required. Just before and after sunset is the best time to enjoy the evening glow and the silhouette of the Tateyama mountains.
