About this spot

A large comprehensive park located in the central part of Yamaguchi City, with vast grassy lawns and well-maintained promenades perfect for family strolls. The grounds include sports facilities and management offices, and you can leisurely enjoy the atmosphere of a summer park while resting on benches in the shade. It is also close to Samino River Higashi-Tsu River Park, the venue for the fireworks display, making it an ideal place to warm up the body as the first stop of the day. With plenty of space for children to run around, it's just right to play without exhausting all their energy before the evening. The parking lot is well maintained and convenient for vehicle access.

Tips

About 10 minutes by car from JR Shin-Yamaguchi Station. Parking is free. On a hot summer day, the sun is strong, so don't forget your hat and sunscreen. There are no shops, so prepare drinks in advance.

Best time to visit

Approximately 1 hour 30 minutes required. Before and after midday, the shade is cool and pleasant for a park stroll.
