Taga Shrine (多賀神社)

Flow of the course

About this spot

A shrine long cherished by the local community as the guardian shrine of the Ogori district, where the trees along the approach soften the summer sun and the grounds are enveloped in a cool, peaceful quiet. At this shrine, carefully tended by locals for many years, families often visit during the summer festival season along with the fireworks display. Walking quietly along the approach before the lively fireworks show becomes a good turning point in your day. The tree shade within the grounds offers a refreshing moment that makes you forget the summer heat. The compact grounds can be easily explored even with children.

Tips

About 5 minutes by car from Ishin Park. Parking spaces are limited around the grounds, so be careful about roadside parking. From the evening of the fireworks day onwards, surrounding roads begin to get congested, so it's recommended to complete your visit during this time period.

Best time to visit

Approximately 45 minutes required. The filtered sunlight on the afternoon approach is beautiful, and the grounds are cool during this time.
