Located on the east shore of Lake Kawaguchiko, this free-entry herb theme facility displays seasonal herbs and aroma goods including lavender, with an open garden facing the lake offering an unobstructed view of Mount Fuji. While August is slightly past the peak lavender season, summer herbs color the garden, and strolling in the cool lake breeze is refreshing. The facility carries local honey, herb tea, and Mount Fuji-themed souvenirs in abundance, so it's convenient to select items here before the evening fireworks to avoid carrying extra baggage later.

2026年8月5日(水)19時45分から20時40分にかけて、河口湖畔船津浜を会場に約10,000発が打ち上げられます。最大の特徴は、富士山のシルエットを背景にした夜空へ開く花火と、静かな湖面に映し出される逆さ花火が同時に楽しめることです。山あいの湖は音の反響も大きく、花火の爆音が体に響く迫力も格別。約55分にわたる大会は、スターマインや尺玉など多彩なプログラムで構成され、フィナーレの連発は湖面と夜空を一面に染め上げます。富士山と湖と花火が揃う、河口湖ならではの夏の絶景です。

Tips

荒天時の開催可否は富士河口湖町観光連盟などの公式情報で当日必ず確認を。終了後は周辺道路と河口湖駅が大変混雑するため、時間差での帰宅がおすすめです。湖畔から駅まで徒歩の場合は足元が暗い区間があるため、ライトを活用してください。帰りの富士急行線の時刻も事前に確認しておきましょう。

Tips

About 10 minutes by car east along the shore from the sightseeing boat pier. Free admission. You can rest on benches in the garden. After purchasing souvenirs, store them in your car trunk or a station coin locker to travel light for the evening. Station lockers fill quickly on the festival day, so arrive early.
